Open innovation at Opsinox® : Combi Flam®

Opsinox® is a dynamic and innovative company that looks for open innovation in collaboration with other innovative businesses! Opsinox®, in collaboration with Flam®, developed a revolutionary solution: The Combi Flam® system. This solution creates a controlled extraction of the flue gas from multiple gas fireplaces into one common concentric flue, and this in mutiple storey apartment buildings.

The flue duct is a special OPSINOX® CLV design, with significantly reduced diameters for the combined concentric flue. Inside this chimney system, the inner and outer duct are completely disconnected from each other, to avoid equilibration between the supply and drain. The system is also air-tight relative to the environment, which makes it a safe solution.

The controlled removal of fumes, carried out by the Flexbox®, ensures a safe operation. The Flexbox® also provides the ability to bend the flue gases downwards or even horizontal, which means difficult arrangements can be made, for example, in private housing. The connection between the Flexbox® and the Opsinox® CLV chimney should always be made through Opsinox® connection material.
